As some of you know we are using various means to keep in touch with our people. We are always trying to be innovative and to do things that suit each individual person. We have done one cooking lesson by video this week- which is a first for us? We do have a protocol in place for beginning to get people back on placements in phases. Whilst we were hoping that this might be soon, the uncertainties created where public health takes priority over individual health make this an unknown. The NHS and Highland Council have to show consistent actions across different provisions too. We have the advantage of being outdoor based. It is at this stage, difficult to imagine that things will return to normal for us and our placements anytime in the foreseeable future. As things return we may have to reorganise our timetable to meet any ( hopefully temporary requirements.) All we can do is promise we will do our best for our placements, whilst managing the risks to a level that is acceptable to all parties. You will see in the “Downloads” section , Risk Assessments and a Protocol related to the Covid 19 situation.
